Changes I'd like to make to my study programme: FCEI and Journalism
Hi everybody! Today I'm going to write about my study programme (I'm in my second year in Journalism). In the first year, the classes were very theoretical and there was a low practical focus. I'd like that in a career like Journalism, the students could experience from the beginning what real journalism is, like going out on the streets, reporting, interviewing, going to p ress conferences and other things like that. Also, as a personal opinion, I consider that several "basic training" courses (classes that are given for both faculty careers), aren't equally beneficial for Journalism and Film, I think the contents are very general and don't relate much to what each one needs to know and learn. In Journalism we have a Radio course, but I would like to have a specific course to learn how to speak well and manage the tone of voice.
